Principal Message
St. Catherine of Siena Catholic School (SCS) has been the home to our shining Stars since 1985. Our school is enriched by the love and support from our parish community, dedicated teachers and staff, committed school families, and enthusiastic students. We work collaboratively with one another to ensure that our students thrive in a school environment that celebrates and forms the whole child as a sacred individual. Our rigorous academics, various enrichment programs, and dedication to faith formation are just a few areas that sets our school apart.
Teachers at SCS analyze the data from the STAR assessments to help guide and adapt instruction to challenge and meet the academic needs of our students. Our teachers create engaging lessons, incorporating technology, and integrating faith into the daily fabric of each school day. Our Sacramental preparation program ensures that our students are formed and ready to receive the graces given freely to us through the sacraments. Our teachers are truly the backbone of our school community whose dedication to Catholic education is unmatched.
Our school families build and create a tight-knit community from the time their child is enrolled at SCS through graduation and beyond. Our parent-teacher committee (PTC) works together to help foster various events that bring our students, family, and community together in fellowship and celebration.
More importantly, at SCS, we create an environment where our Stars learn to radiate a light that imitates that of Christ and to use that light to illuminate a path in service to our neighbors by practicing citizenship through living out our virtues. We gather together to give thanks at the table of the Lord every Friday and at our Parish School Masses each month. Our students are the heartbeat of our community whose lives aim to reflect the quote from our patroness, St. Catherine of Siena,“…be who God meant you to be and you will set the world ablaze”.
